New Destiny is a non-denominational, non-traditional, multicultural church where the warmth of God’s presence rests; spirited sermons, inspirational music, and genuine caring fellowship are typical. We are a praying, praising, and loving church. All are Welcome!
Winning the lost
Bishop Allen M. Bryant Jr.
Bishop, fondly known as “Pastor A” began serving the Lord at an early age, receiving water baptism in the name of the Lord and the gift of the Holy Spirit at the age of 13.
He attended Virginia Union University, Richmond, Virginia in the mid-late 70’s and received his Doctor of Theology in August 2007, Regency Christian College, Jacksonville, Florida.
He married Sylvia Yvonne White in 1982. She is now an ordained elder and his partner in ministry. The Bryants are blessed with four children and a host of grandchildren.
Pastor A worked in corporate America at the Supreme Court of Virginia Clerk’s Office for nearly 16 years. He was the highest-ranking African American in the Virginia Supreme Court Clerk’s Office. Pastor A ministered to justices, law clerks, lawyers, etc. He is still in contact with some of these individuals.
Pastor A acknowledged his call to pastor in 1992, and in 1997 he took a leap of faith and the result is New Destiny Evangelistic Church, Inc. This ministry is prophesy fulfilled. In November 2021, Pastor Allen was ordained to the office of Bishop under Archbishop Ralph L. Dennis, presiding prelate of Kingdom Fellowship Covenant Ministries.
Pastor A preaches the Word of Life simply and practically. He was told “if you will minister to people nobody wants, you will have people nobody has,” people who know their God and are committed to Him.
